Car Video Check – iOS-App, die anzeigt, ob dein Auto Videos über CarPlay im Stand unterstützt
Car Video Check erhebt keine personenbezogenen Daten. Es gibt kein Benutzerkonto, keinen Server, keine Analyse, keine Werbung und kein Tracking. Die App baut keine Netzwerkverbindung auf; es wird nichts an den Entwickler oder an Dritte übertragen.

Was die App auf deinem iPhone verarbeitet
Damit die App erkennen kann, ob gerade ein Auto per CarPlay verbunden ist und was es meldet, liest sie ausschließlich lokal auf dem Gerät:

Diese Informationen werden nur für die Anzeige verwendet und verlassen dein iPhone nicht.
Was gespeichert wird
Die App speichert nur das letzte Prüfergebnis mit Datum lokal in den App-Einstellungen auf deinem iPhone, damit es beim nächsten Öffnen wieder angezeigt werden kann. Fahrzeugkennungen, Standortdaten oder sonstige Daten werden nicht gespeichert.
Löschen: Wenn du die App entfernst, entfernt iOS auch diese gespeicherte Angabe. Beachte, dass ein bereits erstelltes iPhone-Backup (iCloud oder Computer) eine ältere Kopie enthalten kann.
Berechtigungen
Die App fragt keine Berechtigungen an – weder Standort noch Kontakte, Fotos, Mikrofon, Kamera, Bluetooth oder Mitteilungen.

Apple
Den Download über den App Store, Updates und – falls du das in den iOS-Einstellungen unter Datenschutz & Sicherheit → Analyse & Verbesserungen erlaubt hast – das Weitergeben von Absturzberichten an App-Entwickler wickelt Apple ab. Dafür gilt die Datenschutzrichtlinie von Apple. Solche Berichte stellt Apple dem Entwickler nach Angaben von Apple ohne Bezug zu deiner Person bereit; die App selbst sendet nichts.

Schreibst du mir eine E-Mail, verarbeite ich deine Adresse und deine Nachricht nur, um dein Anliegen zu beantworten (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b bzw. f DSGVO). Näheres dazu und zum Besuch dieser Website steht in der Datenschutzerklärung von dustineden.de.
Deine Rechte
Du hast das Recht auf Auskunft, Berichtigung, Löschung, Einschränkung der Verarbeitung, Datenübertragbarkeit und Widerspruch (Art. 15–21 DSGVO) sowie das Recht, dich bei einer Datenschutz-Aufsichtsbehörde zu beschweren (Art. 77 DSGVO). Da die App keine Daten an mich überträgt, liegen mir aus der App-Nutzung keine Daten über dich vor.
Änderungen
Ändert sich die Funktionsweise der App in einer Weise, die den Datenschutz betrifft, wird diese Erklärung angepasst.
Privacy Policy
Car Video Check – iOS app that shows whether your car supports playing videos via CarPlay while parked
Car Video Check does not collect any personal data. There is no account, no server, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. The app does not make any network connections; nothing is transmitted to the developer or to third parties.

What the app processes on your iPhone
To detect whether a car is connected via CarPlay and what it reports, the app reads the following locally on your device only:

| Current audio route of the iPhone | Detect whether a CarPlay connection exists at all. |
This information is used for display only and never leaves your iPhone.
What is stored
The app only stores the last check result and its date locally in the app settings on your iPhone so it can be shown again the next time you open the app. No vehicle identifiers, location data or other data are stored.
Deletion: when you delete the app, iOS removes this stored value as well. An existing iPhone backup (iCloud or computer) may still contain an older copy.
Permissions
The app requests no permissions – no location, contacts, photos, microphone, camera, Bluetooth or notifications.
No tracking
- no analytics or advertising SDKs
- no advertising identifiers, no cross-app tracking
- no account, no sign-in
- no network connections made by the app
Apple
Downloads from the App Store, updates and – if you have allowed it in the iOS settings under Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements – sharing crash reports with app developers are handled by Apple under Apple's privacy policy. According to Apple, such reports are provided to developers without identifying you; the app itself sends nothing.

Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Art. 15–21 GDPR), and the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). As the app does not transmit any data to me, I hold no data about you from using the app.
Changes
If the app changes in a way that affects privacy, this policy will be updated. In case of doubt, the German version applies.
